That dress became Love Not Fear, an independent Toronto fashion and jewellery brand built on a simple idea: choose love over fear. On November 26, we’re getting together at Verity to celebrate what grew from that first dress. I’ll moderate a conversation with Tanya LeBlanc, Maria Locker and Bruna Dicecca about the decisions they made while building their businesses. You get better at telling the difference by making those calls yourself. That’s the conversation I want to have at *When a Woman Rises*. Tanya has spent a decade building an independent fashion brand. Maria has spent more than fifteen years bringing women together through RevolutionHER. Bruna’s experience with burnout changed the direction of her wellness business. I’ll ask each of them about a decision that changed how she built her company, and what she’d do with the same choice today. ## Jewellery and fashion show After the conversation, Love Not Fear will present a mini runway show featuring pieces from across its first decade, including the signature wrap dress and the jewellery collection that grew alongside it.
