Location: Queen-and-Bathurst-ish, Toronto x WFH flex as you wish
Reporting to: Head of Business Development

RESPONSIBILITIES IN BRIEF
Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for contributing the development of our North American new business growth.
Business Development
- Research, assess, and sourcing new business leads, manage and maintaining full CRM and sales process records in Hubspot
- Identify internal decision makers and new business lead prospect structures
- Analyze prospect's current ecommerce infrastructure, identifying gaps and opportunities for internal review
- Outbound communication with new business leads seeking digital marketing and site experience support
- Own and contribute to the execution and delivery of critical sales-related communications, logistics, and administrative support to sales, strategy, and functional leads throughout the sales cycle process
- Work with new business, strategy, and creative teams to craft high quality communications, introductory presentations, audits, research, reports, and collateral as required
- Work with activation and creative teams to oversee site updates and email marketing and lead nurturing campaigns
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotes, presentations, and assembly of contracts for new business opportunities
- Source new RFI/RFQ/RFP opportunities
- Support new business opportunities, inclusive of trade shows, events, conferences, and content
WHAT WE WANNA SEE
- An undergraduate degree in any field and/or an MBA
- A solid understanding of the ecommerce landscape and tendency towards constant research/learning
- Experience supporting a sales team preferred (Hubspot experience preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English essential, additional languages appreciated)
- Organized, professional, strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills (Asana experience preferred)
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude, humility, curiosity, and a damn good sense of humour
